Monday:
David has a fire fighters meeting at 6 p.m. and we never know how late it will run. I picked up some wonderful tomatoes at a local farm stand on Saturday so I think BLTs would be a good plan.
- BLTs
- corn on the cob
- seasoned waffle fries
- peach cobbler (I also bought fresh peaches Saturday.)
Tuesday:
We are going out to dinner at The Artesian in a nearby town with two other couples. We've all been friends for ages but haven't been out together in such a long time. We saw both couples at church yesterday and when I suggested dinner everyone loved the idea.
Wednesday:
I've got a meeting at 8 p.m. so something with minimal cleanup is in order.
- salads with sliced strawberries, fresh blueberries, cooked chicken and poppyseed dressing
Thursday:
I will probably be volunteering at the local soup kitchen. One of our musicians is performing at our favorite Italian restaurant so I think a late dinner there sounds like a plan.
Friday:
- brisket
- squash casserole
- baked potatoes
- salad
Saturday:
There should be plenty of leftovers from Friday night. We'll probably make sandwiches from the brisket.
Sunday:
I don't know if the kids have plans yet or not. If they don't, we'll have them over and grill something.
